Abstract Title of the Study: Time in Divan of Al-Hozaleen Degree: Master Approach of the Study: the Descriptive Analytical approach The study consists of an introduction، preface، two chapters and a conclusion. As for the preface it is about the Linguistic meaning of time، the religious meaning of time، time in pre-Islamic era poetry and time in the Islamic poetry. As for the first chapter، it is about time in the context of poetic purposes، time in the context of lament، time in the context of description، time in the context of complaint and wisdom and time in the context of erotic and proud. The second chapter is about the technical study. It has the poetic language، dictions and poetic picture. The study reached to important results from which are the followings: 1- Hozaleen poets done a lot of mention to the term ""time"" without mentioning its Synonymous in the context of lamenting. This is due to the poets' effecting with the Jahli belief، which state that time is fatal، and the Islamic poets may imitates the Jahli poets. 2) Time was used of the purpose of pride as Arabs were proud of their days about victory . Finally، there is an index about resources and references.
