The present work has focused on the synthesis of some new bioactive quinoline derivatives starting from readily available 2-chloro-3-formylquinoline. The biological evaluation of the newly synthesized quinolines were done against some bacteria and fungi human pathogenic strains and also against four human tumor cell lines.
