Abstract This study examined the collection of the poet EbnDrraj Al Qasteli. The study touched the citation and implication in his poetry. We have begun this research with a definition of the concept of citation, its types and divisions as well as the views of the critics.Thenceforth dealt with the definition of implication, its kinds supported withattestations. The first chapter reviewed discourseconcerning the quotation from the Holy Quran and Hadith, functioning in the poetic text, pointing to the reader the holy status ofthe Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet (May Peace and Prayers be upon Him). The poet has found in the religious texts,Quranic stories and Quranicpersonalities an outlet and anopening through which he overlooks on supreme brilliant worlds which contributed in ranking him to an ascendingprestige where he transferred his poetic works and his inventive imagination to the high level of the distinguished poets such as Al Mutanabi. The second chapter had signified the literary implication in which showed the mastership of EbnDrraj in absorbing the experiences of former poets and their implications then rerepresented in his poetical experimentation and employing them in his poetry withdeep consciousand lightenedvisions to achieve his contemplative view and his psychological dimensions. Then comes the third chapter, through it EbnDrrajwas able to comprehendnations cultures and historical figures,employing such cultures to express what promenade in his spirit of diverse meanings and different situations. In the fourth chapter, the researcher held anantagonismof EbnDrraj Al Qastelito AboNawasvia standing on some models emulating the Andalusian poetsto the Levantine ones.
