الملخص

ABHA area possesses unique environmental conation that showing a great impact on weed plant distribution. This study examined antimicrobial activities of various fruits extracts against some human pathogenic microbes, the degree of variations in deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) polymorphism, fruits chemical compositions for seven various locations of Schinus molle (L.) grown in Abha region, Saudi Arabia. The study area have been classified into seven sites, namely, Annuzhah (2193 m); Al-Saamer (2246 m); Annasab (2197.7 m); Ashifa (2441m); Shamsan (2372m); Al-Muftahah (2250.6 m) and Al-Khasha (2175m). Antimicrobial properties of acetone, chloroform, ethanol, methanol and petroleum ether and hot acetone, hot chloroform, hot ethanol, hot methanol and hot petroleum ether fruit extracts of Schinus molle (L.) were carried out against a range of human pathogenic microbes by measuring the zone of inhibition using agar well diffusion. The results revealed that the fruit extract showed antimicrobial effect on all microbial strains examined. Antimicrobial efficacy of plant extracts found to be depends on the plant locations, condition extraction (hot and cold), the type of solvent and efficacy of the extract against target microorganism.
