Abstract

Research Abstract This study addressed ""the uses and satisfactions of (SMS) text messages by female university students to the Arab satellite channels"", which means the reading or reading and writing of text messages in the private channels that broadcast a program material with the messages. This descriptive study adopted the quantitative methodology and used the sampling of (300) persons selected randomly from the community of university students in Riyadh, representing female students of the Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, where the questionnaire was a tool to collect information from the sample. The study questions in terms of the theoretical aspect were the following: 1-Media needs and incentives. 2- Entry to the uses and satisfactions. 3- Short messages (SMS) in the Arab satellite channels.
