Abstract

Abstract The traditional medias used to communicate between the companies and their customers has a lot of shortcomings. The objective of this thesis is to develop an online ordering system in order to automate the traditional communications used in any customer order cycle. The Web-Based Online Ordering System (eOrder) will allow customers to view the products at real time, place requests, receive offers for these requests, accept or reject the offers and trace the requests until the final orders. The Web-Based Online Ordering System (eOrder) will keep the companies and their customers updated with the use of the real time Notification system. The companies and their customers can refer to the system at any time and from anywhere to view the historical requests with corresponding orders and moreover to update the system with any new process. The most important advantages of the Online Ordering System (eOrder) is the availability of information all the times to the companies and customers as well
