Abstract Translation is considered an effective communication tool between cultures and peoples with different languages. Thus ,there is always a demand for professional and experienced translators . However, the number of translators is limited while the number of documents to be translated is large .This fact emphasizes the urgent need for quick and easy ways to communicate especially in a world that has witnessed a business and technological explosion. With the invention of a translation machine, such needs have been met. My non-thesis focuses on whether Machine Translation is a human asset or a tool for those who depend on it . A survey has been conducted on the part of the researcher to measure the acceptance of MT users of this tool, and of the role it plays in the process of translation. Several pieces of academic research are cited to support the investigation.
