Abstract

Six kinds of pesticides were used in this study: five liquids, including herbicides (glyphosate and clethodim), insecticides (abamectin, cypermethrin and indoxacarb) and one solid insectñnematode pesticide (carbofuran). They are common environmental pollutants associated with agriculture applications that are used to control a variety of pests, weeds, insects and worms. These pesticides have harmful effects on human. Chronic health effects such as cancer and neurological effects have arisen as a result of the cumulative amount of pesticides in organisms. Carbofuran has a harmful effect on organisms through the inhibition of the acetylcholine esterase and the accumulation of acetylcholine at the junction of the nerve cells and the receptor sites in the central nervous system of humans and animals.
